Terranos exists so groups climb together and come down together. Every technical decision — from reciprocity to battery use — starts from one question: does this make you safer on the mountain?
Location starts only with your explicit consent, and stopping asks for a confirmation — so it does not die from a stray touch exactly when it matters. You can join any trip without sharing; you simply will not see the others either.
We do not sell data, run ads, or track in the background. Live positions are not kept as long-term history, and your recorded GPX tracks are yours — export or delete them any time.
